Using our Services including attending our courses or using our compliance certification services or consultancy constitutes reading, understanding, acceptance and agreement to this privacy policy.

In accordance with the Privacy Act 2020, we lawfully collect your personal information to run our business and provide training and certification services. We collect personal information from you, including your:

  • Name
  • Contact information
  • Company/Employer information
  • Date of birth
  • Billing and payment information
  • Company details
  • NZQA student number if provided
  • Any compliance evidence to meet your certification requirements, if required

We keep your information safe, our software complies with strict EU data protection regulations (GDPR), we only allow restricted staff access. Besides our staff, we share this information with:

  • Your past, present or any future employer
  • Growsafe (NZAET)) to meet our accreditation requirements and provide your Growsafe Certificate
  • NZQA to meet our accreditation requirements and to provide you with your NZQA credits if requested
  • WorkSafe to meet your Certified Handler compliance certification requirements if applicable
  • Any third-party debt collection entities or legal services if you do not pay your outstanding balances or fees when due
  • We may also report unpaid past-due amounts to credit reporting entities, which can affect your credit ratings
  • Any reglatory body or government department as required by law
  • Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to provide personal information e.g. DOB or email, we may be unable to issue certificates

In accordance with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 both parties agree that any Electronic Message sent to you by us is not considered unsolicited 'spam'. Until you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe, we have your consent (inferred or otherwise) to send commercial electronic messages to you based on our ongoing business relationship and the services we provide.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. You also have the right to be unsubscribed from any electronic messaging.
